The fixture list features several compelling storylines in the first five weekends. Matchday two sees Pierre Sage's Crystal Palace at home to Manchester City on 28 August, while Tottenham's £100m signing Sandro Tonali faces former side Newcastle on 29 August.
A packed Super Sunday on 30 August includes Brighton at Chelsea under new manager Xabi Alonso's first home league outing, with Leeds hosting Brentford and Sunderland facing Fulham all kicking off at 2pm. Manchester United entertain newly-promoted Ipswich Town at 4.30pm. Europa League winners Aston Villa travel to Arsenal on 31 August in Monday Night Football.
The headline clash comes on matchday three: Arsenal versus Chelsea on 6 September at 4.30pm, with the Manchester derby following at Old Trafford on 13 September (4.30pm kick-off). Liverpool head coach Andoni Iraola returns to his former club Bournemouth on 20 September.
