Arsenal ease past Coventry to open Premier League campaign

The Gunners put on a professional performance to start the new campaign on a high note, according to Sky Sports. Arsenal's comfortable margin of victory—details of which highlight their dominance—underlined their intent as one of the competition's main challengers.

The result represents an ideal platform for Mikel Arteta's side as they look to maintain momentum through the early weeks of the season. Coventry, meanwhile, will need to regroup ahead of their next outing.

Arsenal's opening-day success sets a positive tone, though the real test of their credentials will come against stiffer opposition as the fixtures intensify.
