No formal talks have actually taken place between the two clubs. Not yet. Expect Arsenal's interest to dial up a notch after England's World Cup exit, though.

But let's talk brass tacks. You're looking at a deal likely topping £100m. That's just the going rate now, isn't it? Villa holds all the cards here. Rogers signed an extension last November, tying him down until 2031. That's a strong hand.

The kid's 23. An England international. Last season, he racked up 14 goals and 11 assists across 55 Villa appearances. He cost Villa £16m from Middlesbrough in 2024. Now, he's a full international, 21 caps already. Even got the assist in England's semi-final bust-up against Argentina. So, yeah, he's good.
