Estevao header levels Chelsea-Spurs after Tonali opener

According to Sky Sports, Chelsea faced Spurs in a friendly clash on 1 August 2026, with Tonali giving the visitors an early advantage. The Spurs midfielder's opener appeared to set the tone for the encounter, but Chelsea responded through Brazilian winger Estevao, whose well-taken header restored parity.

The draw leaves both sides level heading into their respective pre-season schedules. For Chelsea, the result will offer manager Enzo Maresca a chance to assess his squad's cohesion following the recent summer window activity. Spurs, meanwhile, will be encouraged by Tonali's early contribution despite failing to hold their lead.

Neither side could find a winner, making it a productive friendly for both camps to build match fitness and tactical understanding before the new season begins.
