Haaland Breaks Deadlock as City Edge Palace

Manchester City moved ahead in their Tuesday fixture against Crystal Palace courtesy of a Haaland strike, according to Sky Sports' live coverage on 28 July 2026.

The Norwegian forward's goal provided City with an advantage in a contest that had remained goalless prior to the breakthrough. Details of how the goal came about remain limited from the available match reporting.

City travelled to south London seeking three points as the early Premier League campaign unfolds. Palace, meanwhile, would have been searching for a result at home to dent the visitors' ambitions.
