Konsa Saga: Arsenal Still Short-Changing Villa

The Daily Mail reports more chatter. "Discussions," they call them. Fancy word for Arsenal still refusing to pony up. Villa wants more for their centre-back. Arsenal's bid, frankly, is insulting. It falls short of what the Midlands club expects.

Mikel Arteta needs defensive help. Konsa's their guy. England international, solid. But Villa isn't blinking. Why would they? They know his worth. Negotiations are deadlocked. A stubborn stare-down.

And as if one frustrating negotiation wasn't enough, Arsenal's juggling other bids. Galatasaray are apparently sniffing around Gabriel Martinelli, tossing a £38m offer into the mix, says The Times. Just what Arsenal needs: more moving parts. Another layer of summer business complication.

Will Arsenal finally cave? Pay up for Konsa? Or will Villa drop their demands? Who knows. They're still talking. So nobody's walked away completely. Yet. Just a lot of noise for now.
