World Cup: Scotland vs Haiti. The Day Arrives.

Sky Sports says it's on: Scotland's World Cup return against Haiti. That's the big news. Don't bother asking about team news, kick-off times, or pre-match drama. Such things are, for now, apparently a state secret.

Still. Scotland at a World Cup. It means something. A generation of fans barely remembers the last one. This match, regardless of opponent, carries the weight of history. And a heap of emotional baggage.

Haiti? No pushover. They earned their spot. Scotland better take them seriously. Underestimate them at your peril.
